Sometimes it's really, really hard for me to do a blog post. Not because I don't have anything to say, but because I have too much I want to post. This is definitely one of those weddings. Sara and Chad were married in Lake Havasu last weekend and I enjoyed every minute of it. Not only the wedding, which was amazing, but also just the weather. 70F rocks! Here are some of my favorites from the day:
I spent a few hours with the ladies getting ready. They were a lot of fun to hang out with and even tolerated me dragging them down to a condemned building! Thanks ladies!
Chad and the guys and their new Boy Band!
The butterfly pin on Sara's bouquet was her grandmothers.
What a beautiful bride! I absolutely loved Sara's dress; it was perfect for her.
Seriously, how could we have possibly resisted this?
The bride and groom stood on a piece of slate from Sara's Uncle's quarry in Vermont. I love details like this.
I love the look that Dads give their daughter right before they walk down the aisle. It makes me tear up every time.
Sara and Chad had engagement photos under this tree:
I have my friends at TriCoast Photography for teaching me this lighting trick.
Sara and Chad were awesome to work with. They even got on the swingset for me! Congrats Sara and Chad!

Sedona Golf Resort-Jamie & Vann
Jamie and Vann were married at the Sedona Golf Resort last August during one of the most craziest thunderstorms I've ever seen there. The Sedona Gold Resort did a fantastic job of moving the ceremony on the veranda just moments before Jamie walked down the aisle. What a beautiful ceremony! You can check out their complete slideshow here, but here are some of my favorite photos.
Jamie's hair and makeup was done by the talented Patricia Vega:
The ceremony was very sweet. Jamie is very close to her cousin, Sophia, and I love this photo of her walking down the aisle throwing rose petals in the air:
I love the way they constantly smiled during the ceremony. Laura Lane of Sacred Unions, had a great personalized ceremony planned. Jamie and Vann later told me just how much they loved it!
At the end of their ceremony, the sun came through and lit up the red rocks!
Flowers were by Amy Mills at Bliss Extraordinary Floral:
I loved Jamie's bouquet; it was so vibrant with lots of pinks and magentas:
The grounds at the Sedona Golf Resort are beautiful for a ceremony:
Love the full moon!
The cake was made by Donna Joy at Sedona Wedding Cakes:
Finally the couple, Jamie and Vann reminded me of 1950s, glamour Hollywood so I cranked out the video light to add some drama to their portraits. I love how they turned out. Congrats!

Red Rock Crossing-Audrey and Brandon
You might remember Audrey and Brandon back in December when I did their engagement session. They got married on a cruise last month and wanted some great photos after their wedding in Sedona. It really doesn't get better than Red Rock Crossing. Although water was too high to walk across the creek, we had a great time photographing around the river and even at an old shack. Special thanks to Kim for helping me with my off camera flash; you were a life saver Kim! I just downloaded the images yesterday but here are a few of my favorites so far:
I love the look of the river behind them in these two photos:
There were a couple of old buildings that we took advantage of too:
I love this one of Brandon looking down on his bride:
I love veils in photos, they really pop in contast to an outdoor location.
Congratulations Audrey and Brandon!
