Newborn Session - Karcy Bloom

Welcome baby Karcy Bloom! This little baby is the daughter of Marcy and Kevin (you might remember their family session last summer), and is a big piece of sweetie pie. She lives in Phoenix and it was nice to be able to spend the day down there in the sunshine. (I travel quite a bit to the valley for photo sessions, so give me a call if you live down there!) She was an angel to work with, and snoozed through most of our session. Here are only a few of my favorites, you can see more on my facebook account and her slideshow here.

Welcome to the world little angel!

What a sweetheart! She opened her eyes just briefly enough for me to get a few open eyes shots.

I adore this one in her dad's hands, so sweet!

Here's the whole family! Big brothers Kobe and Ryan, and big sis Kevy!

I love this one of Kevin kissing her cheek, I think she was smiling!

Engagement Session- Julee and Ben

Julee and Ben are getting married next month in Utah, and wanted to squeeze in an engagement session in Flagstaff before their wedding. We had a lot of fun finding props and using the ones her parents brought along! What a sweet couple, I absolutely fell in love with them and am really, really jealous that I don't get to photograph their wedding. But, I know it's going to be just perfect and Julee is going to be a GORGEOUS bride! Here are a few of my favorites, you can see more on my Facebook account. Congrats to you both!

My new favorite wall in Flagstaff! I loved Julee's outfit, it was perfect!

I love this old, vintage 1941 Chevy truck! It was perfect with her outfit!

This bike was Julee's dad's bike from when they lived in California. I love using props, especially ones that are sentimental like this one.

The sun is perfect right before it dips behind the trees. Love it!

Julee's mom found this antique bench at a yard sale. It looks great!

Julee is such a stunning woman, and I can't even begin to image just how beautiful she is going to look on her wedding day! I can't wait to see the photos!

Tucson Wedding-Jeanne and Stephen

Jeanne and Stephen were married in Tucson, at Stephen's parent's beautiful estate at the foot of the Catalina Mountains. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking! But the real beauty of this event was this couple-how sweet they were with each other, and how much in love they are. It was near impossible to pick out some favorites, but here are a few. You can also see more on my Facebook account and be sure and check out their slideshow here. Thank you so much Jeanne and Stephen! Congrats!

I loved the combination of anemones and orchids in Jeanne's bouquet, they were so beautiful. Jeanne's dress was perfect for her, and she looked gorgeous.

What a beautiful bride! Jeanne got ready at the Tucson National Golf Course that had some great places for bridal portraits.

Jeanne is an animal lover, just like me, so I thought it was perfect that she printed the photos of her two pets on her program. Instead of traditional favors, Jeanne and Stephen chose to give donations to the ASPCA. I think that is a perfect way to treat guests, by donating to a cause! Jeanne's mom was a sweetheart and I loved getting to know her better. The below left photo is of Jeanne's dad, who passed away last April. I thought it was so sweet that she carried a photo of him in her bouquet.

What great bridesmaids! We had a lot of fun doing the photos!

Stephen and the groomsmen outside the house before the ceremony. The backdrop was perfect!

I really do think Jeanne and I are soul sisters, because steel drum bands are my FAVORITE too! Seriously, they take me back to time in the Florida Keys, scuba diving with my friends and Mojitos in Miami. I loved the mood they create, so relaxed and fun!

The ceremony was so sweet. They each wrote their own vows and I don't think there was a dry eye in the crowd!

Jumping photos are always fun!

Jeanne and Stephen, what a great couple!

The top photo was taken right after the sun dipped behind the mountains. It made the ceremony site look fantastic. Jeanne works for New Belgium Brewing Company, so I had to get a shot of the beer!

What a fun weekend! Congrats to you both and I hope to see you again soon!
