Little America Wedding-Amanda and Steve

Amanda and Steve were married at the Little America Hotel in Flagstaff, the weekend after Christmas. Amanda really wanted a snowy backdrop and Flagstaff was ready to fulfill that dream. What a sweet couple they were! I found out that Steve has rescued many horses from inevitable death and keeps them on his ranch. He has one of the kindest hearts I've ever met. And Amanda is his perfect compliment: giving, compassionate and is as pretty on the inside as much as she is on the outside. I was so happy they had found each other, and happier that I could be part of their day. Here's only a few of my favorites. You can see their slideshow here and see more of their photos on my Facebook Account. Congrats Amanda and Steve!

This photo is my absolute favorite from the day. Amanda's dress was amazing and looked just magical in the snow.

Amanda has some striking blue eyes, and no, these are not enhanced by Photoshop!

Loved the dress and her ring was incredible. Nice work Steve!

I love this image of Amanda applying a touch up before we did some of her bridal photos.

High Key photos are fun!

This image was taken during their First Meeting right before the ceremony.

Here's those beautiful eyes again!

This is from their first dance. Amanda's dress was perfect for off camera lighting.

Phoenix Wedding Photography-Assisting Sierra Blanco Photography

A few times a year, I get the opportunity to shoot with some amazing photographers. In January, Tina with Sierra Blanco Photography asked me to assist her at a beautiful wedding at the The Castle at Ashley Manor. This wedding had a photo booth, and I LOVE photo booths! Luckily, Tina and I share a similar sense of humor, and we both had the same idea at the same time! That's Tina on the left with the big leopard hat and I'm on the right in the hot pink boa. The wedding was gorgeous, and I loved working with the groom and his friends. Congrats to Brady and Sarah!

Brady was so much fun and he and his friends had me giggling for the majority of the time. Being an assistant photographer is a lot of fun because I normally don't get to hang out with the guys this much.

It took almost zero prompting to get this shot, what a bunch of fun friends Brady has!

The Castle at Ashely Manor was really beautiful! I loved the chandeliers!

This wedding has some gorgeous kids!

One advantage of having an assistant photographer is having them able to roam around the ceremony site to take photos like this. You just can't be two places at one time. This was during the ring exchange and Tina was up front getting the tight shots of the couple.

Brady was such a sweet and sentimental man. He wanted everything to be perfect from his bride. It was really touching.

The speeches were filled with laughs and tears; I even teared up a couple of times!

I've seen more sparkler exits this year than I have in the past. They make gorgeous photos! Tina was at the front of the exit, I can't wait to see her photo of this from her angle!

Flagstaff Family Photography-Keira and Theron

Keira and Theron are two adorable children that I absolutely fell in love with during our photo session. Their parents are Pediatric Dentists at Around the Mountain Dentistry, and wanted photos of their kids and also some of their amazing office. Their office has a huge picture window that has a panoramic view of Mt. Eldon and is filled with toys and paintings that any kid at any age would love! Here are just a few of my favorites of the kids! Thanks for a great day guys!

Theron is such a handsome young boy, with the deepest brown eyes I've ever seen!

Keira is absolutely stunning, and such a beauty!

I adore this image of them walking down the alley. Keira wanted to make sure her brother didn't slip on the ice. So sweet!

Isn't this the coolest waiting room you've ever seen? From the race track seating, to the molar chairs to the beautiful mural...this is where I want to go to the dentist!

Flagstaff Family Photography-The Austin Family

This is from one of my holiday photo sessions, and now that everyone has received their holiday gifts, I'm safe to post away! What a great family! I've known mom, Kim, for a few years, through my volunteer work with the Safe Kids Education Program. Her husband is also a great pediatrician in Flagstaff. She has three awesome children and one big, sweetie Mastiff, Turman. Here's all four of them, Dane (top left), Caden (top right), 120 lb Truman and beautiful Abby.

I love this image of the kids just being kids!

The quintessential family portrait...Flagstaff style!

Flagstaff Family Photography-Lulu Bianco

Meet Lulu Sole Bianco, a little girl that ended up stealing my heart.

The session didn't start very easy, Lulu was determined NOT to have her photograph taken! As soon as they got out of the car, Lulu grabbed her mom's keys, ran back to the car, and locked herself in! This only lasted about 10 minutes, because what I've learned about kids during my time as a photographer, is as soon as you ignore them, they come into your world with voracious curiosity. As soon as I broke out the "magic skirt", Lulu transformed herself into a beautiful fairy princess!

As soon as our session was over, this little girl invited me to Hot Chocolate at Late for the Train. I happily accepted, and by the end of our drinks, she shyly asked her mom if I could move in with them! She was so sweet and cute about this genuine and heartfelt invitation! Even though I had to turn down the new residence offer, we made a future date for Hot Chocolate again where we can discuss the magic land of fairies! I can't wait to see you again Lulu!
