Summit Center Classic

Memorial Day weekend only means one thing to me: watching 200+ men in spandex race their bikes. Summit Velo presented the Summit Center Classic, a three day, four stage road race. This year, we had the criterium downtown, which was pretty exciting to watch. This is a photo of Nick Schreiber who is one of our teammates down in Tucson. He was going up Mars Hill faster than I could drive it!

Welcome to the world little Nathan!

Is this guy a cutie or what? Nathaniel came into this world right before Bike to Work Week and I was lucky enough to have my camera in hand when I first met him. He is 100% sweetie pie and is getting more handsome every day! I'm calling him Nathan since that's what his pop told me his name was before he was born. (His favorite movie? You guessed it, Raising Arizona!)

Bike to Work Week

Bike to Work Week 2007 kicked off yesterday in Heritage Square with the Bike Bazaar. We had bike recycling, a human powered parade, helmet giveaway for kids and lots of entertainment. It's making my head spin just thinking about yesterday and what the week will include! Check out Flagstaff Biking Organization for more information on this great advocacy group! That's my good friend and photographer extraordinaire, Cameron Clark, leading the parade. She photographed my wedding, and is one of the best photographers in the US. We put so many balloons on her bike I was almost afraid she might lift off!

Wade Lashley

Local music legend, Wade Lashley, was looking for some head shots for promotional pieces so we headed up to the Zane Grey room of the Weatherford Hotel and took these. He was a lot of fun to work with and had a great sense of humor and tolerated my creative shots quite well! Thanks Wade!

Angie's Baby Shower

I love baby shower's, all the laughs, stories of kids and the "ohhhhsss" cried out when the mom opens a gift. Our good friends, Angie and Dave, are expecting their first baby next month and we're all excited to finally meet the little guy. She's due late May, but we all think he might come a little sooner!
